Poster and Digipack rough drafts

Here I have started my rough drafts of my poster. I made the map background by using pages from a map, soaking them in tea, burning the edges a little and then pouring food colouring to look like blood onto them.

I scanned them into photoshop and then added all the writing and fonts. I did consider handwriting it on, and I did experiment with this but decided against it.

To make it more realistic I included a few 'quotes' from famous figures and music magazines, along with 5 stars.

I used different fonts for each quote to differientiate between each one, and kept them quite simple as they are not the main texts.

I used the same technique for the actual digipack cover as well. This has more of a map feel as it has markings on where the survivors plan to escape to where it's supposedly safe.
To make the digipack itself more official I added a record companies name (Zombie Records) along the spine  and the back cover, as well as a barcode. I also added another of the artists, Sam Hart, songs as a B-side to the back of the case.
