Social Realism - Fresh Meat

Fresh Meat is a TV series for Channel 4, created in 2011. It's about a group of people in their first year of Uni and things don't go too smoothly for them. There are a group of 5 'freshers' and Howard who live together in a flat outside of the fictional University in Manchester.  

I think Fresh Meat is very socially realistic. It has a lot of awkward moments in it and things go wrong a lot of time which is how life is, especially for students at uni.
